Questions
- Does my client need an account?
- A free one, made as they open the link: they type their email and a six-digit code from it, no password. That is how Peak tells you who opened your photos and who downloaded them.
- How long does the link work, and how much can I send?
- On Free, a link works for up to 7 days and your live transfers hold 10 GB at once. On Pro, up to 90 days and 250 GB. Past Free without a subscription, one transfer can be unlocked once: €2.99 ($2.99, CA$2.99) for 100 GB over 30 days or €4.99 ($4.99, CA$4.99) for 250 GB over 90 days. You can end a transfer at any time, which deletes its files.
- Do the photos lose quality?
- No. Your client downloads the original files as you sent them, one by one or all at once, and on an iPhone straight into Photos. Only if you ask does Peak take the location out of them first.
- Can I send more than photos?
- Yes. A Peak transfer takes any file: photos, raws and videos, and the contract, the invoice or the PDF beside them. Photos and videos show as pictures; anything else is a tile with its name and size, to download. With Remove location on, only files Peak can clean can go.
- Who can open it?
- Whoever has the link and signs in. Peak can email it for you, and shows you, for each transfer, how many opened it and downloaded from it.
