A fashion shoot’s selection, with everyone in one room
A fashion or commercial shoot is chosen by several people at once: the brand, the art director, the agency, sometimes the model. Peak gives them one room, decides what each of them sees, and keeps the originals back until the selection is settled.
Choose together, or apart
A room has three settings. Collaborative: everyone sees each other’s picks, stars and comments, so the art director’s shortlist is in front of the brand. Conversation: the comments are shared and each person’s picks stay their own. Private: each person sees only their own marks and comments, and yours. You see everyone’s, whatever the setting.
A room can be made more private at any time, and more open only until someone has marked a frame: what people chose believing it private is never shown to the others afterwards.
Comment on the frame, not the file number
Comments sit in the room’s conversation and point at a frame with #, so “the third look, jacket open” is a link to that frame rather than DSC_4821 in an email.
The room’s activity shows the frames picked, rated and discussed most, and who is behind each.
Nothing leaves before it is approved
With downloads off, a room only ever sends a 1024-pixel preview; the original never leaves storage. Turn downloads on for the final delivery, one frame at a time or the whole room as a single zip.
Peak does not watermark previews.
Find the look in the archive
Colour search finds every frame where the season’s red covers most of the picture, across every shoot you have kept, weighted by how much of the frame it fills.
Open a frame and Peak shows the others that look like it, from this shoot or one from three years ago, with the burst of one moment told apart from a resemblance.
Your name on the room
On a paid plan, a room and its invitations name you rather than Peak. On Free they say “Shared with Peak”.
Questions
- Can a brand see what the agency picked?
- Only if you want it to. A Peak room is collaborative (everyone sees each other’s picks and comments), conversation (comments shared, picks private) or private (each person sees only their own). The photographer always sees everything.
- Can I stop clients downloading before the selection is approved?
- Yes. With downloads off, a Peak room only sends a 1024-pixel preview of each frame, and the original never leaves storage. Turn downloads on when the selection is final.
- Does Peak watermark photos?
- No. Peak has no watermarks. To keep originals back during a selection, turn a room’s downloads off: clients then only ever receive a 1024-pixel preview.
